Consumer Protection Partners is a nonprofit organization with a clear mission: to protect consumers and promote fairness in the marketplace. For over six years, we’ve championed the rights of American and Canadian consumers while encouraging innovation and healthy competition.
We advance this mission by working on multiple fronts. Our team engages in hearings, workshops, and conferences to shape policy and strengthen consumer protections. We partner with law enforcement agencies across the country and collaborate with international organizations to hold businesses accountable worldwide.
We also protect consumers directly — by investigating unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent practices, and by educating both consumers and businesses about their rights and responsibilities. From data security and false advertising to debt collection and identity theft, we collect complaints and ensure they are made available to the proper authorities for action.
